All dogs deserve to be treated kindly, today my Rotti X scratched my face when he tried to get my attention. I could've hit him but I didn't. It was my fault, over the last few months my two dogs have been pushed aside while I've been distracted writing my latest novel.

Yes, I give them a cuddle every night and walk them every morning, but they're used to me showing them love throughout the day, they don't understand.

Be kind to your dogs, they give unconditional love in exchange for food, water and a safe home to live in.

Hopefully, my guilt will ease tomorrow but my love for my dogs will never die. It will always be as strong as the day I brought them home to live with me.
